Workers who carry out production, assembly and assembly work in maritime construction, see Section 2 of the Regulation, have a minimum hourly wage: for work on construction sites, in maritime construction and for cleaning work requiring overnight stays, the employer pays, subject to another agreement, the costs of starting and completing the order. There are three different types of minimum wage rates: adults, start-up and training. If, due to financial difficulties, an employer cannot afford to pay the national minimum wage, the labour tribunal may exempt it from paying the minimum wage for three months to one year. Only such a waiver may be permitted. The provisions of the collective agreement on overtime are not of general application. The provisions of the Labour Environment Act apply unless a more favourable overtime supplement is agreed upon. In accordance with sections 10-6 (11) of the Labour Environment Act, an increase in overtime equal to 40% of the hourly rate is paid. Workers covered by a bonus or registered agreement are entitled to minimum wages, including penalty interest and compensation in their bonus or agreement. These wage rates may be higher than the national minimum wage.
Before the employer commits the employee to an aaway transfer contract, an agreement should be reached on the terms of restoration and accommodation. As a general rule, the employer pays for food and accommodation, but a fixed support rate, payment based on the account provided or such can be agreed. For the transport of goods by road with planned nights, the subsistence allowance is paid at any time according to the rates approved by the authorities for the abatement of tax-free support. One third of the subsistence allowance rate is paid for each eight-hour period started. You are not entitled to the national minimum wage if you are: each year, the Fair Work Commission reviews both the national minimum wage and minimum wage rates below bonuses (annual wage review).
